hi, I’m leslie
Hello!Hi there! I’m Leslie, and I’m an editorial + cinematic photographer based in Knoxville, TN. I’m 23 years old, a UTK alum, and have a deep love for anything vintage, fashion, and the Cava kid’s meal (best deal out there, trust me). My journey with photography began when I started carrying around a disposable camera my sophomore year of college. I had such joy in capturing the everyday chaotic moments happening around - my best friend’s smile, a crisp fall day on campus, a catch-up session over lunch in the student union, or the laughter of my friends while we skipped class together. My taste was significantly refined and pushed when I lived in Santa Barbara, CA, during my junior year of college. Being surrounded by so much creativity and individuality in the people around me pushed the boundaries of my work and grew my passion for film photography.
I find myself continuously inspired by the people I love, color, light and shadows, and deep emotion. Just like how I captured every single fleeting moment in college, I aspire to document your moments as well. The quick glance, the easy laughter, and the momentary touch we find in the joyful chaos are what I aspire to capture.
My work is a product of the way I notice the world and the joy I find in others. I draw endless inspiration from film, cinema, and music - the common factor I find in all of these things is the way they make me feel. And ultimately, that is what I am after: capturing how a moment, a love, a celebration, whatever it may be, feels.
